Audition Information:
Seeking highly skilled, EU/based freelance dancers for 2 separate projects in Amsterdam for the 2025 season.
The two projects have overlapping tour dates, therefore separate dancers are needed for each project. Must be EU-based, with the right to work. CAO pay scale for professional dancers. Paid internship based on NL intern rates. No housing is provided if you are a resident outside of the Netherlands. Travel for rehearsal and tour is paid.
When:
12 & 13 October (Professional dancers)
19 & 20 October (Intern dancers)
Time: 10:00 both days (call backs only for the second day)
Where: Amsterdam, NL (precise location shared with invited applicants)
Deadline for application: 18 August
Response date: 16 September
Project 1: Rehearsal dates – 8 September-16 October 2025, Premiere 17 Oct, Tour from October-January 2026 (dates subject to change). CAO pay rate for professionals & paid internship.
Project 2: Rehearsal dates – 6 weeks between April to mid-June. Premiere in June/July. Tour to follow in Fall/Winter 2025. CAO pay rate for professionals & paid internship.
Information Needed for Form Submission:
1. Introduction video (Youtube link) – Short introduction of yourself and talk about what kind of dance work you love to do. (Can be sent as an individual video or at the beginning of the dance movement video.)
2. Dance reel or Improvisation video (Youtube link) – Show various movement qualities, with some emphasis on sharp and dynamic qualities.
3. 2 photos (1 headshot, 1 dance photo)
4. CV/Resumé
